Website measurement
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic and performance information.
Some shared links also include an outreach code. First-party counters measure daily page loads and clicks on the CV, email and project links, grouped by that code. These counters do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, precise locations, browser fingerprints, full URLs or visitor identifiers. They do not use cookies or browser storage, and do not connect activity across visits.
For first-party page-load counts, the server briefly processes the connection IP address against a locally bundled worldwide network-operator database and some more specific published university allocations. This helps assess the reach of the portfolio. Matching happens within the hosting service; addresses are not sent to an external lookup provider. Only separate daily totals by network organization and match type, or an unknown/unavailable category, are retained. IP addresses, IP hashes, matched address prefixes and per-visitor records are not retained in these counters, and network totals are not joined with outreach codes or enquiries.
Network data: IP Geolocation by DB-IP, using the IP to ASN Lite database under CC BY 4.0. Network-owner information can be incomplete or inaccurate; shared networks and internet service providers do not identify their subscribers.
Only aggregate totals are stored in these first-party counters. Reports cover the most recent 90 days; older totals are deleted when counting or reporting next runs. Reports are private. Neither a shared-link count nor a university-network match identifies a person or establishes their employer, research group or physical location. Hosting providers still process ordinary network requests to deliver the website.
The outreach and network-organization counters respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. You can also browse this portfolio without first-party counting; this choice applies to that page load. Cloudflare Web Analytics is separate.
Leadfeeder — no longer active
The optional Leadfeeder tracker and its consent notice have been removed. This portfolio no longer loads Leadfeeder or sends new browsing activity to it. Known Leadfeeder cookies and the previous consent preference are cleared when you next load a portfolio page.
During the brief opt-in trial, visitors who gave permission could have sent connection and browsing information to Leadfeeder (Dealfront Group GmbH) for estimated organization matching. Automatic form-field capture was disabled. Any data already processed by the provider is not automatically deleted by removing the tracker.
